[GGUGE] New to Gguge? Start Here!

Welcome to Gguge!
If you're new to Gguge and not quite sure where to begin, this guide will help you get the most out of our platform. From finding the right class to joining your first session, we've got you covered.

1. What is Gguge?

Gguge is an online learning platform where teachers and students interact in real time.
All classes are conducted live through Zoom, allowing students to actively participate and communicate with their teachers throughout the lesson.

2. What types of classes are available on Gguge?

One-Time Classes
One-time classes are perfect for exploring a new topic or getting to know a teacher.
Since these classes are designed around a single topic, the content remains the same even if you enroll multiple times.
Multi-Session Classes
Multi-session classes follow a structured curriculum over multiple sessions, allowing students to explore a topic in greater depth step by step.
Students learn together with the same teacher and classmates throughout the course.
Please note that tuition for all sessions is charged in a single payment.
Subscription Classes
Subscription classes are recurring classes that either introduce new content each session or repeat a fixed curriculum.
They are ideal for students who want to learn consistently on a regular schedule.
Once enrolled, your subscription automatically renews and payment is processed after each class session unless you cancel your subscription.
You can cancel your subscription without a cancellation fee up to 48 hours before the scheduled class start time.
Private Classes
Private classes are fully customized learning experiences designed specifically for your child.
You can discuss and customize the class schedule, number of sessions, class topics, and number of participants (including one-on-one lessons).
Pricing varies depending on the teacher and class requirements. Our team will provide detailed guidance after your inquiry.

3. What's the difference between Talent Classes and Academic Classes?

Talent Classes
Talent Classes focus on extracurricular learning experiences that help students discover their interests, develop creativity, build confidence, and improve communication skills.
The primary goal is to encourage intrinsic motivation and personal growth.
Examples:
Fun Math Through Famous Mathematicians
Empathy-Based Public Speaking
Beginner and Advanced Chess Academy
Academic Classes
Academic Classes focus on helping students achieve specific educational goals and improve their academic performance.
Examples:
5th Grade Math Unit Test Preparation
Phonics for Year 1 British Primary School Students
Science Gifted Program Preparation Course

Browse categories to explore a wide range of learning opportunities.

8. I have feedback after taking a class!

Leaving a review for your class is a big help to other parents deciding whether to sign up, as well as to the teacher running the class!
If there's anything you weren't satisfied with or feel could be improved, please share that honestly too. Gguge and the teacher will review it quickly and work to make the class even better.
If you'd like to reach out to the teacher privately or share your thoughts directly, you can send a message using the [Ask a Question] button at the top of the class detail page.
With [Ask a Question], you can send the teacher a 1:1 message. When you get a reply, a red dot will appear next to the speech-bubble icon in the top right of the Gguge homepage. If you have any unread messages, we'll send you a KakaoTalk notification every day at 10:00 AM and 7:00 PM, so keep an eye out.
We hope every student has a fun and rewarding experience at Gguge. If you have any more questions, please reach out to the Gguge Customer Center.
